Copyright & trademarks
App names, logos, icons and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and appear on AfriAPK only to identify the software they refer to. AfriAPK claims no ownership of, or affiliation with, that third-party software unless explicitly stated.
Our position on hosted files
We deep-link to official sources first. For a limited set of apps we host the genuine, unmodified file and publish its SHA-256 checksum and a VirusTotal scan. We do not host cracked, modded or pirated software. Even so, if you are a rights holder and want a hosted file removed, we will act promptly on a valid request.
Filing a takedown notice
Send a written notice that includes: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) the exact URL(s) on AfriAPK you want removed; (3) your contact details; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for them; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.
Where to send it
Email your notice to dmca@afriapk.com. This is the fastest route. Incomplete notices may delay processing.
What happens next
On receiving a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the identified material and make a good-faith effort to notify the affected party where applicable. We aim to respond within a few business days.
Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the removed material and its former location, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake.
Good faith
Submitting a knowingly false claim may expose you to liability. If you are unsure whether AfriAPK is the right recipient (for example, for content that lives on a third-party site we only link to), please tell us and we will point you to the correct host.
