What is AfriAPK?

AfriAPK is an independent download-guide hub for Android apps in Africa — betting apps that are geo-restricted, trading platforms, mobile-money and lite apps. We link to official sources first; when we host a file ourselves we publish its SHA-256 checksum and a VirusTotal scan. Read more about us.

Is it safe to use AfriAPK?

Yes. For bookmakers and trading apps we deep-link to the operator's own official page — we never rehost those. For other apps we host, we mirror the genuine, unmodified file and publish its SHA-256 hash plus a VirusTotal scan so you can verify it before installing.

Do you check files for viruses?

Every file we host carries a published SHA-256 checksum and a VirusTotal link. We never modify the APK. We do not host "modded" or "premium unlocked" apps — those are the main source of Android malware.

Why does Google Play Protect show a warning?

That warning appears for any app installed outside the Play Store — it is not specific to AfriAPK. It is safe to continue for files you have verified. See our Play Protect guide.

How do I install an APK or XAPK?

Follow our step-by-step guides: install an APK and install an XAPK. The steps work on any Android phone.

Why are betting and forex apps only linked, not hosted?

By policy we never rehost bookmaker or trading binaries. For those apps we always send you to the operator’s official download page, so you get the current, licensed build direct from the source.

Is AfriAPK free? Do I need an account?

AfriAPK is completely free and there are no accounts — we don't collect your name or contact details. Some outbound links are affiliate links, at no extra cost to you. See our Privacy policy.

How do I suggest an app or report a problem?

Email us or message our Telegram — see the Contact page. To suggest an app, send its name and official link; please don't attach APK files.
